Terms of Service

Last updated

You pay per store for the plan you choose, you can turn off auto-renew at any time and keep access until the period ends, your store's data stays yours, and you remain responsible for running your pharmacy lawfully.

1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and MediStore, [registered address] (“we”, “us”), for the use of MediStore (the “service”). By creating an account you accept them. If you create an account for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept them on its behalf; “you” then means that business.

2. The service

MediStore is online software for managing a medical store: medicines, batches and stock, suppliers, purchases, GST sales and staff access. What is available today is listed on our Features page. Features marked “Coming soon” are plans, not promises. We may improve or change the service; we won't remove a core feature you rely on without telling you first.

3. Accounts and staff

  • Store owners sign up with Google. Staff logins are created by the store's admin.
  • You are responsible for the logins you create and for what your staff do in the app. Give each person their own login and only the access they need.
  • Keep sign-in details private, and tell us at once at [email address] if you think someone has used your account without permission.
  • The information you give us, such as your store's GSTIN and drug licence number, must be accurate.

4. Free trial

New stores may get a free trial; its length is shown when you sign up. No payment details are needed for the trial. When it ends you need to choose a plan to keep using the app. Your records are not deleted when the trial ends.

5. Plans, prices and payment

  • Prices are per store and shown on our Pricing page. They are before GST; when GST applies it is added and shown before you pay.
  • Payments are taken by Razorpay. You can pay for one period at a time, or set up auto-renew, which charges you at the start of each period until you turn it off.
  • You can turn off auto-renew at any time from the Billing page. You keep full access until the end of the period you paid for and are not charged again.
  • A plan change takes effect at the end of your current period. There is no proration.
  • A coupon applies only as described when you use it, and has no cash value.
  • We may change prices for future periods. We will tell store owners at least [notice period, e.g. 30] days before a new price applies to them.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. When a plan ends

If a period ends without payment, the app stops working for your store until you pay, except for the Billing page. Your records are kept as described in our Privacy Policy and are available again as soon as you renew.

7. Your data

Your store's records belong to your store. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to record personal data about your customers, staff and suppliers, and for telling them where the law requires it. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

If you need a copy of your store's records, write to us before your account is closed and we will help.

8. Your responsibilities as a pharmacy

MediStore is a record-keeping tool. You remain responsible for running your pharmacy lawfully, including under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and its Rules, the Pharmacy Act, 1948, and GST law — for example holding valid licences, checking prescriptions before selling scheduled medicines, keeping the registers the law requires, and filing correct tax returns.

Alerts and reminders in the app, such as expiry flags or a prescription reminder, are aids. They do not replace the judgement of a registered pharmacist. We do not give medical, legal or tax advice.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the service for anything unlawful, including selling medicines you are not licensed to sell;
  • try to access another store's data, or test, probe or attack the service (to report a security issue, see our Security page);
  • copy, resell or rent the service, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows; or
  • upload malicious code, or overload the service on purpose.

10. Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and your data backed up, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or problems outside our control. Support is available Mon–Sat, 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM IST at [email address] and on our Contact page.

11. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost business or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the [number of months, e.g. 12] months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

12. Suspension and ending the service

You can stop at any time by turning off auto-renew. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other stores at risk. Where it is reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will update the date above and tell store owners about significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute. If we can't, the courts at [city for courts, e.g. Guwahati, Assam] have exclusive jurisdiction.
